Brasil

Wow...Brasil is definitely the most gifted team in the attacking third of the game and Marta is the real deal. She blends into the background then in a moments notice becomes the most dominate player in the game today. Their backs are hard tackling yet out of position constantly. If any team could keep the ball and switch the point of attack in 2 or 3 passes they should be able to destroy the whole game plan of the Brazilians. Also the best defense against Marta and the attackers to keep the ball in the Brazilian defensive third, so play high pressure and get at them. Their sweeper is way to deep and thus their is no offsides line. Run at them and keep the ball down the Brazilian end. But hey that is just what I think...any other ideas out there?

USA

What a goal by the US...world class strike...pouring on the pressure they need a second soon though...and I'm curious how bad it will be for the North Korean women after the stories of how badly the men were treated after their exit from the men's world cup...

FC Sonic vs Pocono Snow

First NPSL game of the year. Sonic vs the Snow and let me tell you what it was rough one to watch. Very messy and not crisp at all. Way to direct of a game play by both. And no good counter attacking to see which is a shame for the Sonic especially who needed the win for playoffs. But it was nice to catch up with some former PA Stoners guys Sam Bishop and Matt Baker... Baker is doing his thing with Union and the Reading teams. I hope the NPSL level keeps getting better because tonight was not a good example of soccer...true shame.

Women's World Cup Friday

Wow JAPAN ...and Germany looks like they might be having a little issue more then just the bruises from Nigeria...keep watching
